Blessing Duru holds an MBA degree (Business Management) from the University of Lagos, and a first degree in Economics from the University of Uyo. She has garnered experience from various top industries ranging from Financial services, FMCG, Telecommunications, and Banking.
Her career began with Aiico Insurance Plc with a great flare for excellence and outstanding performance. She was recognized for the high number of Insurance Accounts she was able to open within her first six months in the business.
She has also successfully played vital roles in business project management in the FCMG industry, where she was part of a great team that had the responsibility of brand communication and visibility, ensuring that the target number of branches were opened nationwide in the most suitable part of the country to ensure high sales drive.
She had a career shift to Finance when she joined the Finance Team of one of the Top Telecommunications companies in Nigeria. She had the responsibility of accounting, auditing, and reconciling all sales made nationwide.
